League City is joining forces with Kemah, Nassau Bay, Clear Lake Shores, and Seabrook to sponsor the 58th annual Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas Boat Lane Parade on Saturday, December 14. League City residents are invited to come out and enjoy the event starting at 6 p.m. along the shores of Clear Lake, or on the water as an official parade entry.

League City Mayor Pat Hallisey will be selecting the best League City boat entered into the parade and will present the winner with the League City Mayor’s trophy at an awards brunch at South Shore Harbour Resort on Sunday, December 15. The cost to register a boat is $90 up until December 13 and $125 on the day of the event. To access the parade entry form click here.

The Christmas Boat Lane parade features more than 60 brightly decorated power and sailboats that traverse the Clear Lake channel from the South Shore Harbour Marina and the Nassau Bay Lagoon to Galveston Bay. To view the 2019 parade route click here.

More than 100,000 people traditionally enjoy the parade from hundreds of boats anchored throughout the lake and from various viewing areas on land including: the Kemah Boardwalk, both sides of the Kemah/Seabrook Channel, Nassau Bay Lagoon, South Shore Harbour Marina, Clear Lake Shores, and new this year—the Davis Road Canal and Constellation Pointe in League City. Homeowners along Davis Road are encouraged to decorate the waterside to welcome boaters along the parade route.
