  13. The History Club: Texas Dance Hall Preservation

    In 2008, Texas dance halls were named to the "Most Endangered" list by Preservation Texas. Since then, the Texas Dance Hall Preservation (TDHP), a statewide nonprofit organization, has worked to help renovate halls and bring them to life. Co-founder and past president Steph McDougal will talk about how dance halls helped to shape Texas music and culture and what TDHP is doing to support dance halls today.
