About the Local History Collection
The mission of the Local History Collection at the Helen Hall Library is to collect, preserve and disseminate information relating to the histories of League City, North Galveston County, and the surrounding Bay Area.
Issues of The Citizen newspaper have been converted from microfilm to digital form for researchers' access while at the library. A project is currently underway to digitize additional past years of various periodicals.
