Background
On February 13, 2013, after indicating an intent to begin well testing operations in the next few weeks, city staff was notified that Forza Operating, LLC. had turned over operations of the Langley #1 Well site to Interstate Explorations, LLC. Several personnel associated with Forza were now working with Interstate Explorations.
Forza Operating had an active Drilling Permit from the city issued on April 10, 2012 (See Langley 1 Well permit webpage issued to Forza Operating). As a result of the change of operations, it was determined that Interstate Explorations would need to apply for a new drilling permit with their name on it, in addition to what was to be submitted for the operations, since well completion testing is associated with a drilling permit.
