Annual Board Appointments - Beginning in August of every year the City initiates a solicitation period for those positions expiring in December. Appointments are confirmed in December.

  • Encourages tourism in the League City community, to raise the public visibility of local activities which may attract visitors to the City, and to promote and enhance tourism in the convention and hotel industry.

Ethics Review Board
  • Meets as needed.
  • Shall have jurisdiction to investigate and make findings and conclusions concerning alleged violations of the Ethics Code, regulations governing lobbying, or the City Charter.

  • Meets monthly.
  • Provide recommendations on City projects and initiatives related to public art, placemaking opportunities, art and cultural services, programs and community events, and beautification.

  • Meets monthly.
  • Study functions of City Boards and commissions, making recommendations to City Council for retention, modification, or elimination.  
 
League City Transportation and Infrastructure Committee

  • Shall make recommendations for updates to Master Transportation Plan; propose financial methods, programs, and projects for implementing Master Transportation Plan.
