In the event of a crisis involving our children, there are some important procedures and information that Clear Creek Independent School District (CCISD) needs you to know.
Emergency Communication
In the event of an emergency, CCISD parents will be notified. Often, the district will call, email, or text with information just to reassure them that their children are safe and no action or response is necessary.
Upon receiving emergency communication, it is critical to remember a few important tips:
- You may not be permitted into the school. There will be an alternate location established, and you will be notified.
- Refrain from using your cell phone on or near school property in an emergency. This is not intended to keep you from contacting your child, but rather to keep the cell and data lines clear for communication among emergency responders.
- Parents should subscribe to CCISD's emergency SMS (text) by texting "Yes" to 68453
- If you change your home, work, or cell phone number, notify the campus immediately to ensure you receive emergency communication.
Reunification
Reunification is when students are physically released to a parent/guardian, or other person authorized on the student registration form. Traditional dismissal is suspended including normal bus routes, walkers, and student drivers.
