Increase capacity and efficiency of existing drainage easements to enhance flow. Improve easements/rights-of-way with either earthen swales or concrete channels for unrestricted flow paths to Landing Ditch.

Project Status as of April 2023

The consultant delivered the 100% design plans on May 24, 2022. The plans were reviewed and approved by City staff on June 22, 2022. Project is pending CDBG construction funding approval and environmental review before bidding for construction.

Original Schedule

The original schedule, as of September 2019, shows the preliminary study phase underway in 2019 with completion in quarter 4 of 2019 for The Landing Drainage Improvements. Design and land acquisition phases begins in quarter 1 of 2020 through quarter 3 of 2020. Construction bidding is scheduled for quarter 4 of 2020 with construction following through quarter 2 of 2022. Construction time is an estimate as each bid is awarded based on cost and time submitted by the contractor.

Current Schedule

The current schedule, as of December 2021, shows the completion of a grant application in quarter 3 of 2020 for The Landing Drainage Improvements. Grant award and kickoff were quarter 4 of 2020 through quarter 1 of 2021. RFQ for design services per the grant requirements completed in quarter 2 of 2021. Design begins in quarter 2 of 2021 and continues through quarter 3 of 2022. Land acquisition begins in quarter 1 in 2022 through quarter 2 of 2022. Construction bidding is scheduled for quarter 3 of 2022 with construction following in quarter 4 of 2022 through quarter 4 of 2023. Construction time is an estimate as each bid is awarded based on cost and time submitted by the contractor.
