The Meadows Drainage Improvements, Phases I & II
Scope of Work
The project will mitigate chronic flooding by providing a clear, unobstructed drainage flow along drainage easements and adjusting the water surface elevation of the tributary between Louisiana Street to Robinson Bayou.
It will also deepen the tributary channel two feet from Louisiana Street to Robinson Bayou and remove the two feet weir from the existing box culvert under FM-270. An overflow swale will be installed on Indian Blanket and increase curb inlet capacity on Paintbrush Avenue and Winecup Lane. The project will also include the installation of a trenchless 24-inch HDPE storm drain next to the existing 42-inch RCP pipe on Winecup Lane. In addition, it will increase inlet inflow capacity and increase the outfall pipe size from 24 inches to 30 inches by pipe bursting on Dove Haven Lane.
