Scope of Work

Reconstruct 6,000 feet of Calder Road from Ervin Street to Cross Colony Drive to a concrete curb and gutter roadway with one lane in each direction and a center turn lane. The project also includes sidewalks and a 12-inch water main.

Project Status as of July 2022

This project was completed.

Original Schedule

The original schedule, as of September 2019, shows the design phase of Calder Road South from Ervin to Cross Colony complete in quarter 2 of 2019. Relocation of utilities in progress in quarter 3 of 2019. Construction bidding is scheduled for quarters 3 of 2019 with construction following in quarter 1 of 2020. Construction is programmed from quarter 1 of 2020 through quarter 1 of 2021. Construction time is an estimate as each bid is awarded based on cost and time submitted by the contractor.

Current Schedule

The current schedule, as of December 2021, shows the design phase of Calder Road South from Ervin to Cross Colony complete in quarter 2 of 2019, along with land acquisition. Relocation of utilities were completed in quarter 3 of 2019, and construction bidding was completed in quarter 4 of 2019. Construction began in quarter 1 of 2020 and was completed in quarter 4 of 2020. New design for crosswalk results in design beginning again in quarter 1 of 2021 and progressing through quarter 1 of 2022.
