Subdivisions, Areas, or Streets Impacted

The park lies between Mariner Drive, Windward Drive, and Anchor Way Drive within the Bayridge Subdivision, accessed south on Bayridge Drive from Highway 96.

Project Status as of February 2023

The Bayridge Park Project has reached substantial completion as of mid-January. All improvements and renovations have been completed and/or installed. Receipt of remaining tables and benches has been delayed due to supply chain issues and the contractor is awaiting updated arrival times.

Most of the existing facilities at this 1.8-acre neighborhood park were aging and in need of replacement or improvements for several years. Improvements include a new playground, a 5-foot-wide concrete perimeter walking/jogging trail, a small picnic pavilion, baseball field improvements, basketball court resurfacing, and landscaping. The park reconstruction was fully funded with Park Dedication Fees. City Council awarded a contract to Landscape Art, Inc., for $563,899 on April 26, 2022.
