November General Election 2022

The General Election for the City of League City was held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 for expiring terms of the Mayor and Council Positions #1, #2, #6, and #7. Filing for a place on the ballot is set by state statute. The City also held a Special Election to fill a vacancy in Council Position #3, an unexpired term ending November 2024.

Important Dates and Deadlines

The first day to file an application for the November 8 General Election is July 25, 2022.  The deadline to file a candidate application is August 22, 2022 at 5 p.m. The deadline to file a candidate application for the Special Election, Position #3, is Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. Please click here to download the November 2022 Candidate Packet (PDF).
