Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Events
As part of League City’s agreement with AmeriWaste, there are two Household Hazardous Waste disposal events hosted at Hometown Heroes each year in the spring and fall. Starting in 2023, AmeriWaste will also provide two curbside HHW disposal events, one in the summer and one in winter.
Curbside HHW Pickup Events
For the summer 2023 curbside pickup event, residential customers *only* will need to call AmeriWaste at 281-585-3200 between June 1 and June 15 to be added to the pickup list. Curbside pickups will be the third and fourth weeks of June 2023, and AmeriWaste will notify residents by phone of their pickup date.
Hometown Heroes HHW Disposal Events
2023 Household Hazardous Waste events at Hometown Heroes Park will be held on March 18 and August 26. Learn more about the Household Hazardous Waste events here.
