A General Election for the City of League City will be held on Nov. 6, 2018 for the purpose of electing a Mayor, and Council Members for Positions #1, #2 #6 and #7 for a four-year term each.  A date for a run-off election is to be December 18, 2018. Below is a list of candidates in the order they will appear on the ballot

A Special Election for the City of League City will also be held on November 6, 2018 providing the registered voters of the City to vote on separate propositions for the amendment of the City Charter (proposed propositions).

FOR LEAGUE CITY RESIDENTS WHO RESIDE IN GALVESTON COUNTY

Voter Registration in Galveston County: The last day to register to vote in the General Election is Oct. 9.   

Register to vote in Galveston County at  www.co.galveston.tx.us/tax_offices/voter_registration.htm.  


Ballots by Mail: Applications for ballot by mail for Galveston County residents may be sent to Dwight D. Sullivan, County Clerk, Galveston County Justice Center, P.O. Box 17253, Galveston, Texas, 77552-7253.  Applications must be received no later than close of business on Oct. 26, 2018.


Early Voting: Early voting hours of operation are: Oct. 22 to 26 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Oct. 27 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Oct. 28 from 1 to 6 p.m.; Oct. 29 to Nov. 2 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.  Locations within League City include:

--CCISD Administration Building, 2425 E. Main St. (FM 518)

--North County Annex, 174 Calder Rd. 

--COM League City, North, 200 Parker Ct.

--Creekside Intermediate, 4320 W. Main St.      

***Residents may also vote at any of the locations listed on Galveston County's website at www.galvestonvotes.org


Election Day Voting.  League City residents may vote on Election Day between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.  Locations within League City include:

--Hometown Heroes Park, 1001 E. League City Parkway (Hwy 96)League City Civic Center, 400 W. Walker St.

Voter Registration.  The last day to register to vote in the General Election is Oct. 9.  Register to vote in Harris County at www.hctax.net/voter/registration.

Ballots by Mail: Applications for ballot by mail for Harris County residents may be sent to Stan Stanart, Harris County Clerk, P.O. Box 1148, Houston, Texas, 77251-1148.  Applications must be received no later than close of business on Oct. 26, 2018.

Early Voting : Early voting hours of operation are: Oct. 22 to 26 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Oct. 27 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Oct. 28 from 1 to 6 p.m.; Oct. 29 to Nov. 2 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.  at the Freeman Branch Library, 16616 Diana Lane, Houston
**Residents may also vote at any of the locations listed on Harris County's website at www.harrisvotes.com.

Election Day Voting: Residents residing within Harris County should refer to Harris County's website at www.harrisvotes.com for Election Day voting locations.
 
EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION 
League City citizens residing in an extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ) are reminded that they vote on a county level. Check your county's website for additional voting information outside of what is listed above.
