The League City Police Department is hosting a drug takeback event Saturday, October 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Getting rid of expired or unused medication is as simple as driving through the parking lot of the League City Public Safety building located at 555 W. Walker Street and dropping them off, no questions asked. There is no need to consolidate or remove labels, however, no needles will be accepted. All items received will be incinerated off-site.
