Residents can provide their input into the creation of League City's new dog park by taking a short online survey. The survey results will be utilized by the City’s consultants, TBG Partners, as they develop a schematic design for the facility within Hometown Heroes Park. The survey includes questions about what residents would like to see in the new park. Once the survey closes on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, a public meeting will be held at a later date to seek input on a preliminary schematic design. Following the schematic design, TBG Partners will carry out design development work through most of March 2019. After approval of all elements of design development, the consultant will continue creating construction documents, which will take through the end of July 2019. Bidding and construction will follow when the Hometown Heroes Park Trail grant status becomes available. Citizens may also contact Bob Duke, League City Parks Planner/Project Manager, at 281-554-1456 or at Bob. Duke@leaguecitytx.gov, to give input or ask questions about the project.
