League City is celebrating National Trails Day on June 1 with a free,
family friendly event from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Dr. Ned and Faye Dudney Clear
Creek Nature Center. The Clear Creek Nature Center features a 1.3 mile birding
and multi-purpose observation trail, complete with bird blinds.
In addition to a guided tour of the trail there will be plenty of fun activities for the kids including games, inflatables, and giveaways.
Parking is limited. The City will be providing a
free shuttle at the Clear Creek Community Church located at 999 FM 270.
National Trails Day is an annual event hosted by the American Hiking Society on the first Saturday in June which celebrates not only national scenic and historic trails, but all trails on public lands. League City has 27 miles of hike and bike trails to explore. To download a pdf click here
