High School senior football players representing 67 public high schools in the greater Houston-Galveston area will be converging on League City on Saturday, June 8 for the 2019 Bayou Bowl. The game, scheduled at 7 p.m., will be held at Columbia Challenger Stadium in League City and is also being broadcast live on ABC Channel 13.
The League City Convention and Visitors Bureau will be handing out FREE game tickets on Saturday, June 1, from 9-11 a.m. during the City's National Trails Day celebration at the Dr. Ned and Fay Dudney Clear Creek Nature Center. Limit of four tickets per person.
The Bayou Bowl, coordinated by the Greater Houston Football Coaches Association (GHFCA), will features an East vs. West format. This year’s teams will be coached by staffs representing Clear Falls and Clear Lake high schools, in Clear Creek ISD; Alief Taylor, in Alief ISD; and Foster High, in Lamar Consolidated ISD.
