The TxDOT Commission is proposing to remove proposed Segments B-D of the Grand Parkway from north of I-69 in Sugar Land, Texas to I-45 in League City, Texas from TxDOT’s 2020 Unified Transportation Program (UTP). The UTP is TxDOT’s 10-year plan to guide transportation development for future construction projects and related activities. Click here to read more about the UTP.
The City Council of League City approved a resolution on July 9, 2019 requesting that the Texas Transportation Commission take action to include “Segment B” of State Highway 99 (Grand Parkway) in the 2020 Unified Transportation Plan and take action to complete the traffic revenue study, land acquisition, design, and construction activities. Citizens are invited to provide public comment on this subject until August 12 by mail, online, or at a public hearing.
