In support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, the League Park pavilion in League City is going pink for the month of October.
On Tuesday, October 1, staff members from the City of League City and CertaPro Painters painted the pavilion located at 512 2nd Street, pink.
The effort is a collaboration between League City and CertaPro Painters, who donated the paint and labor, to bring awareness to breast cancer. The City hopes breast cancer survivors, and those that have lost a loved one or friend to breast cancer, will come out and take a picture at the pavilion to show their support. The pavilion will be painted back to its original white color on November 1.
