Due to the ongoing concerns of COVID-19 and with the health and safety of the community in mind, the Helen Hall Library will be closed to the public as of 6 p.m. Thursday, March 19 until further notice. All library scheduled programming will also be cancelled. Residents wishing to return books can use the available 24 hour drop-off box located outside of the library building. At this time, overdue book fines will not be waived, but can be addressed individually on a case by case basis. For assistance, residents can call (281) 554-1111.
Even though the Helen Hall Library is closed, staff members want to remind library card holders that they have access to thousands of eBooks at this link https://helenhall.libguides.com/c.php?g=822825&p=5873551.
There is also a variety of free, online learning opportunities for children to access on the library’s website, including online story times and educational resources to help families have fun and continue learning, while staying home.
