In response to the Governor’s recent order to allow the reopening of summer camps and youth sports on May 31, the League City Parks and Recreation Department has put together a reopening schedule.
Summer Camp
- Limited to 50% capacity, 50 total kids (ages 6-12).
- Camp starts June 15.
- Registration begins June 1, 8:00 a.m. for residents, June 8, 8:00 a.m. for non-residents (pending availability).
- Registration is available on-line or in-person at Hometown Heroes Park.
- Fee is $215 per session (no field trips).
- No counselor in training program this summer.
Youth Summer Basketball
- League play is canceled for the summer.
- We will offer a tournament style 3-point and free throw shootout later in the summer, more details to come.
Youth Summer Baseball
- Registration opens June 3 for residents, June 10 for non-residents.
- Registration is available on-line or in-person at Hometown Heroes Park.
- There will be a virtual draft.
- Practices start June 22 and games will start July 11.
