The municipal pool located at the Hometown Heroes Recreation Center will open on Monday, June 1 for lap swimming and for water aerobics. Individuals wanting to lap swim can stop by Monday through Thursday between the hours of 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Those wanting to participate in water aerobics need to preregister online or by calling 281-554-1180.
Open swim will begin at Hometown Heroes Pool and the municipal pool on Walker Street beginning June 15, but with limitations. Open swim will be limited to 30 swimmers and swimmers will be limited to 1 – 1.5 hours of swim time.
Registration for swim lessons begins June 3 online and in person at Hometown Heroes Park. Lessons are available for ages 6 months to adults. All lessons will be held in the evening.
