Effective July 1, all recreational programming at the Hometown Heroes Building along with the City’s summer camp program have been suspended for 2 weeks due to a patron testing positive for COVID. All campers and rec members are currently being notified. City staff will evaluate the situation over the next ten days and make a determination on when to resume programming and summer camp.
In addition, the City’s two municipal pools (Walker Street and Hometown Heroes) are closed and will be closed thru the holiday weekend due to a pool staff member experiencing possible symptoms of COVID. The City will reevaluate on Monday, July 6 based on test results.
