At their Tuesday, August 25, meeting, members of the League City Council will hear a first reading of the Fiscal Year 2021 Budget. Citizens are invited to provide their comments at a public hearing during that same meeting. A final reading and adoption of the budget is scheduled for September 8. Over the past two months, Council has hosted six work sessions with staff to review and fine tune the upcoming budget. Members of the public were invited to attend the work sessions and all were streamed live on the City’s Facebook page and on the City’s website.
Citizens can provide feedback on the budget before it’s official adoption at this link. www.leaguecity.com/budgetcomment. All submitted comments will be shared with City Council members and with the City Manager. All public comment submissions become public record.
