League City is closing all City facilities at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25 and the facilities will remain closed through Monday, August 31. This includes City Hall, the City Hall Annex, the Municipal Courts Building, the Hometown Heroes Recreation Center, the Helen Hall Library, and all City parks. Public works and public safety crews will continue to operate.
League City staff will man the City’s 311 line for calls on Wednesday, August 26 until noon only and will resume taking calls once the storm passes.
Ameriwaste will collect trash on Wednesday, August 26 for those who have a Wednesday pickup. NO yard waste or heavy trash will be picked up. Ameriwaste will NOT pick up trash on Thursday, August 27 and Friday is yet to be determined.
