[ARCHIVED] Emergency Response Services and 911

911

All League City residents need to be aware that emergency response services could be limited during the height of Hurricane Laura. Storm surge, strong winds, and power outages are expected during the storm.

During and following the storm, residents are encouraged to dial 911 ONLY for in-progress emergencies for police, fire or medical assistance. It’s important not to overload League City’s emergency call center with non-emergency calls, especially during a storm. Non-emergency calls can delay citizens with real life-threatening emergencies from getting the response they need

Do not contact 9-1-1 to check on the status of the weather, flooded roads, power outages, or other non-emergency inquiries. For that information, visit the City’s website at www.leaguecity.com or the City’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/leaguecitytexas

To report a power outage, call Texas New Mexico Power at 888-866-7456.
