The Helen Hall Library is now open late during two weekdays and has resumed Sunday operations, making it the only library open in Galveston County on Sunday. The new hours are:
- Monday 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
- Tuesday 10 a.m. - 6 pm
- Wednesday 10 am - 6 p.m.
- Thursday 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
- Friday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Saturday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Sunday 1- 5 p.m.
