On Tuesday, October 20, the Galveston County Clerk’s Office made League City aware of a data synching issue—with their computer equipment—that resulted in the League City Council races being omitted on some electronic ballots. Galveston County believes the issue impacted the ballots of 156 residents who voted early and live in Precinct 220 (Bay Colony Area). There are 73,221 registered voters in League City.
League City is advising all registered voters within the City to double-check that the League City Council races are included on their electronic ballot. If they are not, we are advising voters to NOT cast their ballot and to immediately report the issue to a worker at the polling location.
League City residents who have already early voted and are concerned about the completeness of their ballot are advised to contact the Galveston County Clerk’s Office at 409-770-5108.
