The first council meeting of the new year is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12 and will include newly elected councilmembers John Bowen and Justin Hicks. Regular League City council meetings and workshops will be held for the next several months at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center. The council chamber, which also serve as the City’s municipal courtroom, is undergoing a major renovation that will upgrade the main chamber, lobby, and restrooms, and add new IT and video streaming equipment. All meetings and workshops are open to the public to attend and are live streamed on the City’s Facebook page and website.
