Construction will begin in late February on Phase III of the Bay Ridge Drainage Project. The project is one of 21 flooding and drainage improvement projects approved by League City voters as part of the 2019 Bond program. Phase III of the project will construct additional storm sewers, inlets, and overflow swales to improve drainage to the neighborhood.
Residents of Bay Ridge are invited to a public meeting on Thursday, February 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center to learn more about the schedule of activities, where materials will be stored, work hours, and other notable items regarding construction activities that will occur. The engineer working on the project will also provide a quick review of its design and timeline.
Attendees will be able to ask questions. For those that cannot attend, the meeting will be streamed live on the City’s Facebook page and website.
