[ARCHIVED] City Buildings to be Closed Wednesday, February 17

closed

CITY CLOSURES: Due to the mass power outage across League City and the state, League City municipal buildings will continue to remain closed on Wednesday, February 17. This includes City Hall, the City Hall Annex, Municipal Courts, the Helen Hall Library, Hometown Heroes Recreation Center, and the Civic Center.

City staff members will be answering calls and assisting residents from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Residents can call the main City line at 281-554-1000

City Parks will be open.

NO TRASH SERVICE FEB 17: Due to the landfill being closed, there will be no trash collection on Thursday, Feb 17.

UTILITY LATE FEES AND SHUT-OFFS SUSPENDED: Because of the massive power outage and closure of city facilities, League City is suspending utility bill late fees until the end of the month and will not be cutting off water service to residents until next month. We understand that our residents are dealing with critical health and safety issues that take precedence. We will be happy to assist our customers with their payments after the severe weather issues have been resolved.
