Volunteer with the Kitty Condo Krewe

cat volunteer

League City Animal Care is seeking volunteers for their Kitty Condo Krewe program. The Kitty Condo Krewe Program allows shelter cats to find adoptive families at five local pet supply stores such as Petco and PetSmart. Most of the cats at League City Animal Care are adopted from these offsite condos, which are open seven days a week. This program allows cats to be seen by more potential adoptees and gives them an opportunity to find loving homes out of the shelter.

Kitty Condo Krewe volunteers play with the cats, clean their kennels, and take care of them during their stays. Each volunteer spends about 45 minutes to one hour on a rotating shift to engage with the cats. All volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and children are welcome to participate if they’re accompanied by an adult volunteer. This can be a great opportunity to introduce children to volunteering and is another way to have family bonding time.

Join the Kitty Condo Krewe today! If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, visit the Kitty Condo webpage.
