Where and when is the event?
League City's 2023 White Linen Night Artfest is on Saturday, June 10 in the League City Historic District—from League Park (off FM 518) east to the League City Historical Society Museum at 2nd Street and N. Kansas Ave. Booths and food trucks will be stationed along the side streets throughout this area. The event begins at 4 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m.

What is it?
White Linen Night pays homage to the centuries-old New Orleans tradition of wearing white clothes while socializing outdoors in the summer heat. League City’s White Linen Night Artfest is all about celebrating the arts and history in League City’s Historic District. It's completely free, and open to people of all ages to come and enjoy art, food, and music. Wear your white linen and bring your friends and family for a fun evening of culture beneath League City's majestic oak trees.

What can I expect?
Art! There will be plenty of art, including live art demonstrations—including wood carving, pottery, and chalk art demos in League Park—live music, and more than 150 artist booths displaying and selling their work. There will also be a classic car show and historical markers telling the story of the Historic District. Kids will have plenty to do in the "Kid Zone" in League Park, including a bounce house, mini golf, face painting, chalk, bubbles, coloring, and hair tinsel.

Where do I park?
Parking will be available at three locations: League City Elementary (520 E. Walker St.), Citymark Church (231 W. Main St.), and the City Hall Municipal Complex (300 W. Walker St.). At Citymark and City Hall, there will be CCISD school buses shuttling people to the Historic District every 10 minutes for the duration of the event. The final shuttle will bring people back to their cars at 8:30 p.m., departing from the parking lot at 144 Park Ave (the blue building). FM 518 will not be closed during this event, so please exercise caution while crossing the road and obey all traffic laws. Uniformed officers will be on site to assist pedestrians.

Will there be food?
Yes! There will be more than a dozen food trucks, along with beer, wine, and cold brew coffee for sale. For a list of food trucks and where they will be stationed, view the event map here.

How can I cool down?
There will be free water bottles available throughout the event, along with several cooling stations. Also, be sure to wear your white linen to keep cool while you’re outside.
