Plowman Wildlife Experience

Wednesday, June 14 from 2 to 3 p.m.; for 1st to 5th graders; at the Civic Center
Take part in an interactive and educational animal experience that allows you to get wildly up close and personal with animals from around the world and inspire a passion for wildlife conservation. Parents/Caregivers will be seated in the back of the room. If you need accommodations for your student, please contact Kate Guynn kate.guynn@leaguecitytx.gov. 

Teen Crafternoon

Wednesday, June 14  from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.; for ages 12 to 18
Feeling crafty? Let’s make something together! We provide the materials, you bring the creativity. On June 14, we'll make fluffy slime!

Thursday Talks: LCPD Forensics Unit

Thursday, June 15 from 10 to 11:15 a.m., for adults
Join Alex Hansen, League City Police Department Evidence Technician, as she highlights important aspects of forensic science. 

Paper Craft: Art of Quilling

Saturday, June 17 from 1 to 3 p.m., for adults
Learn to make decorative designs from thin strips of colorful curled paper.

This program is a great outdoor activity for both children and adults and helps children to build their confidence and interest in reading!

Express your creativity! Complete Lego building challenges and enjoy friendly competition while hanging out with your friends.

Computer Class: Smartphone Basics

Wednesday, June 21 from 10 a.m. to noon; for adults
Learn the basic ways of navigating your smartphone and helpful app tips!

Exploring Energy

Wednesday, June 21 from 2 to 3 p.m.; for 1st to 5th graders, in the Civic Center
Our friends from the Houston Museum of Natural Science will show students how we create and use different types of energy with an electrifying program. Children will sit with other students. Bad Art Night

Friday, June 23 from 6 to 8 p.m.; for adults
Aren’t you tired of trying to make something nice? Don’t you just want to go crazy and make the ugliest piece of art imaginable? Try your hand at making the worst piece of art – hey, you may win our prize! Limited to 20 people, registration is required.
