Public Meeting Will Provide Update on BId and Construction Timeline and Impacts on the Neighborhood
As part of the 2019 Bond Program, voters approved a drainage improvement project in The Meadows Subdivision to mitigate chronic flooding by providing a clear, unobstructed drainage flow along drainage easements and adjusting the water surface elevation of the tributary from Louisiana Street to Robinson Bayou.
Construction design documents for the project are complete, and a public meeting will be held on Thursday, June 15. from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Civic Center located at 300 West Walker Street.
This meeting will update residents on the next phase of the project including the bid and construction timeline and impacts to the neighborhood. The meeting will include a short presentation by City staff followed by Q and A, and comments/feedback from attendees.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, it will be broadcast live on the City's Facebook page, Comcast Channel 16, and on the City's website at this link
