National Trails Day
June 17 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Rustic Oaks Park. Come join us for a morning for fun! We will have crafts, mini golf, sno-cones, and more! This event is open to all ages and is free.
Parks and Rec Month
Did you know July is Parks and Rec month? We are super excited for the month of July and are planning some exciting activities and ways to earn some swag! Keep an eye out on our Facebook page for the upcoming activities.
Citizen Appreciation Day
Come share your patriotic spirit with us as we recognize League City's most valuable asset-our citizens! The annual League City Citizen Appreciation Day will feature family-friendly activities including live entertainment, a petting zoo, face-painting, and moonwalks. The Hometown Heroes Pool will be open as well. We will serve complimentary hot dogs and cotton candy. All residents are invited to attend.

Fencing
En Garde! Join us for our next session of Fencing, June 8 to 29, and learn techniques of the sword in a fun and safe environment. Class meets on Thursdays. Classes will be held at the Community Center: 400 S. Kansas Ave. The registration fee is $65.
Youth, Ages 6-10: 6 to 7 p.m.
Cadet, Ages 11 and older: 7 to 8 p.m.
Competitive, Ages 13 and older: 8 to 9 p.m.
Nature Journaling Workshop
Join Kristine Rivers of Birding for Fun for this hands-on nature journaling workshop- no drawing skills required! Nature journals are a wonderful way to interpret the world around you and create a treasured memory of your discoveries and experiences. We'll review ideas for how to use your journal, then go outdoors for some relaxed journaling time before reconvening in the classroom. This class will take place at the Community Center.
- Dates/Times: Saturdays, 9 a.m. to Noon
- Cost: $60 ($40 for return students)
- Ages: 14 and older
Summer Tennis
Our League City Tennis camp is designed for beginning and novice level students as well as entry level tournament players and school players. This camp will allow players ample development time and is an amazing way to learn the proper stroke mechanics, tactical progressions, and motivate students to see how much fun tennis is! We will run exciting competitions, drills, and games on the tennis court. Players will be grouped by age and skill level. USPTA certified professional instruction! To view class times/dates and cost.
