Celebrate Independence Day in League City with Two Free Events


July 3 Fireworks Extravaganza

Bring your lawn chairs or blankets, and come out to the Chester L. Davis Sportsplex on July 3 for an evening of food, fun, and FIREWORKS! There will be food trucks, live music from Velvet Punch, inflatables, and more. Fireworks start promptly at 9 p.m. Coolers are allowed. No alcohol, pop-up tents, drones, fireworks, or pets. Additional parking will be available at Hometown Heroes Park, with free shuttle service provided to and from the Sportsplex, starting at 5 p.m. and ending at 10:30 p.m. Download the Pyrocast App to your phone if you want to enjoy the fireworks from outside the park and still want to hear the music. The app will ask you for a four-digit code. Enter code:

July 4 Citizen Appreciation Day

Stop by Hometown Heroes Park on July 4 for another family-friendly celebration. Enjoy complimentary hot dogs and cotton candy, live entertainment, a petting zoo, face-painting, and moonwalks. The Hometown Heroes Pool will be open as well.
