[ARCHIVED] Free Admission to City Pools July 1–4

Free Admission to City Pools for Ages 16 & Under

Thanks to an anonymous donor, both the Walker Pool and Hometown Heroes Park Pool will be FREE for League City residents ages 16 and under from July 1–4, however the Hometown pool will be closed on Saturday due to a swim meet. Hometown Heroes Park Pool will also be free on Monday July 3 (for 16 and under) and Tuesday, July 4 for ALL residents for Citizen Appreciation Day. 


July 4 Weekend Open Swim Pool Hours


Walker Pool

  • Saturday, July 1: 1 – 7pm
  • Sunday, July 2: 1 – 7pm
  • Monday, July 3: CLOSED
  • Tuesday, July 4: CLOSED

Hometown Heroes Park Pool

  • Saturday, July 1: CLOSED for a swim meet
  • Sunday, July 2: 1– 6pm
  • Monday, July 3: 1 – 5pm
  • Tuesday, July 4: 10am – 2pm (Citizen Appreciation Day!)
