StoryWalk

Week of July 24, for families and children; on front lawn outside of Courts and Library
This program is a great outdoor activity for both children and adults and helps children to build their confidence and interest in reading! 

Mystery Craft Challenge

Tuesday, July 25 from 2 to 3 p.m.; for all ages
With a variety of craft supplies available, participants will see what awesome creations they can up with!

Harry Potter Birthday Bash

Wednesday, July 25 from 2 to 3 p.m.; for all ages; at the Civic Center
Potter-heads of all ages can join in the best birthday Harry has ever had! There will be broom races, crafts, and other magical activities. The Wildlife Center of Texas will be there and are bringing birds to share.

Sidewalk Makeover

Thursday, July 27 from 2 to 3 p.m.; for ages 8 to 11
Chalk + creativity = colorful and fabulous sidewalks!

Anime Binge

Thursday, July 27 from 2 to 5 p.m.; for ages 12 to 18 in the Teen Room
Catch up on some good anime shows! Teens are welcome to stay briefly or the entire time.
Watch Cowboy Bebop, rated TV-14.

Tiny Art Painting Party

Sunday, July 30 from 1 to 3 p.m.; for adults
Come design your own canvas! Canvases and painting supplies will be available for patrons to use. Supplies are limited to one canvas per person, but participants are free to bring their own 3-inch x 3-inch canvas to decorate.  All art returned by August 5 will be displayed in the Tiny Art Exhibit on the second floor from August 7 through September 1!

Teen Aspiring Authors

Tuesday, August 1, from 5 to 7 p.m.; for ages 12 to 18
Grow as an emerging author! Share your works in progress with fellow writers and provide feedback for each other. This program is hosted by a Teen Advisory Board member.
Note: Please bring your original works so that other aspiring authors can provide feedback. Original works may include PG-13 and TV-14 content. 

Adult Crafts-to-Go

Thursday, August 3, pick-up is all day as long as supplies last
Pick up your bag of materials to make the craft of the month! Supplies are limited, so availability will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Happy crafting! 

Mad About Hoops

Thursday, August 3 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.; for all ages
Be a part of this interactive program with games, lessons, and contests. There will also be an exciting LED hula hoop show and a read-along of the children's book Tessa Tries to Hula Hoop.

Pop-Up Storytime at Hometown Heroes Park

Friday, August 4 starting at 10:15 a.m.; for children and families
Join us for stories, songs, and rhymes! We will be at a different city location for each Pop-Up Storytime. Check the library calendar or Facebook event for the location.

All art returned by August 5 will be displayed in the Tiny Art Exhibit upstairs from August 7 through September 1!
