Five Spots Remaining For Citizen University

The program is held only once a year, each fall

The next session of Citizen University will be from September 7 to November 9, 2023. Classes are held every Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at various locations around the city, depending on the class topic.

Each session will include an interactive presentation from City staff on various City services and issues, providing an understanding of how citizens play a crucial role in leading League City into the future. The course also includes tours of City facilities. Students are required to complete a minimum of two volunteer hours at a City event or activity.

Participants are expected to attend all classes and are allowed to miss no more than one class. If you anticipate missing more than one class in a session, it is recommended that you wait until next year's session.
