Library Receives Donation of Veteran Interviews
The members of the Sam Houston Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution recently donated over 100 veterans interviews to the Helen Hall Library local history collection. The interviews are part of the Library of Congress Veterans History Project and feature interviews with veterans from WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Helen Hall Library is very grateful for the donation and is looking forward to making the interviews accessible to the public. The records are currently in the process of being catalogued and digitized. Residents will be able to explore this new collection sometime in October 2023.
