Your City, Your Voice: Join a Board or Committee
Are you passionate about League City and want to make a difference in the future of your community?
Serving on a League City board allows you to actively participate in discussions and decisions that influence our community's direction, while also gaining valuable experience and contributing your unique perspective.
The City has 16 different groups made up of citizens who volunteer their time and expertise for the benefit of the community by setting policy, aiding fellow citizens, providing input, improving services, and planning for League City’s future. Residents are appointed to these positions by City Council. Most boards meet once a month.
Selections for appointment start in December, so submit your application today!
Groups with vacancies and expiring positions include, but are not limited to:
- Animal Shelter Advisory Committee
- Finance Committee
- Ethics Review Board
- Keep League City Beautiful Committee
- League City Transportation and Infrastructure Committee
- Library Board
- Parks Board
- League City Convention & Visitors Bureau Advisory Board
- Planning and Zoning Commission
