City Council Runoff Election on February 17

Everything you need to know about when and where to vote

No candidate received more than 50 percent of the votes in the January 13 Special Election for City Council Position 4. Therefore, according to the League City Charter, a Runoff Election must be held between the top two candidates:

  •  Courtney Chadwell (received 42.6% of the vote)
  • Ange Mertens (received 18.47% of the vote)

Election Day

Saturday February 17 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

Election Day Polling Locations

  • Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center, 400 West Walker Street
  • Public Works Operations Center, 1701 W. League City Parkway
  • Hometown Heroes Park, 1001 E. League City Parkway
